Snap! overview

Snap! is a Educational tool. You can open it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Snap! for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on respective sources.

Snap! operates with .JAR files. Other Snap! supported filename extensions besides .JAR are .SB2, .SPRITE, .YSP, .MP3, .OGG, .SB, .SCRATCH, .WAV, .YPR.

There are two ways of opening .JAR files with Snap!:

1. You can double-click on .JAR file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If Snap! is properly installed on your computer, the file will open successfully.
2. You can open .JAR file through the Snap! menu. The menu button can be found on Snap! dashboard.
