X-Plane overview

X-Plane is a Educational tool. You can launch it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. X-Plane for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on official sources.

X-Plane supported file formats include .AC and other formats of similar type. Other X-Plane supported filename extensions besides .AC are .LIN, .REP, .STR.

There are two ways of opening .AC files with X-Plane:

1. You can double-click on .AC file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If you have installed X-Plane on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
2. You can open .AC file from the X-Plane menu. To open the menu, launch X-Plane, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
