X-Plane overview

X-Plane is a Educational tool. You can launch it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. X-Plane for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on respective stores.

X-Plane operates with .AC files. Other X-Plane supported filename extensions besides .AC are .LIN, .REP, .STR.

You can open .AC and other files with X-Plane in two ways:

1. By double-clicking on .AC file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If you have installed X-Plane on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
2. You can open .AC file from the X-Plane menu. The menu button can be found on X-Plane dashboard.
