Celestia overview

Celestia is a Educational program. You can open it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Celestia for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on official stores.

Celestia is mainly used for working with .CEL files. Other Celestia supported file formats besides .CEL are .CFG, .CMOD, .DSC, .FP, .SSC, .STC, .TXF, .VP, .XYZ, .XYZV.

There are two ways of opening .CEL files with Celestia:

1. You can double-click on .CEL file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed Celestia on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
2. You can open .CEL file through the Celestia menu. To open the menu, launch Celestia, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
