Celestia overview

Celestia is a Educational tool. You can open it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Celestia for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on official stores.

Celestia operates with .CEL files. Other Celestia supported file formats besides .CEL are .CFG, .CMOD, .DSC, .FP, .SSC, .STC, .TXF, .VP, .XYZ, .XYZV.

There are two ways of opening .CEL files with Celestia:

1. You can double-click on .CEL file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If Celestia is properly installed on your computer, the file will open successfully.
2. By opening .CEL through the Celestia menu. To open the menu, launch Celestia, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
