You can open .AI and other files with GIMP in two ways:

1. By double-clicking on .AI file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed GIMP on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
2. By opening .AI from the GIMP menu. The menu button can be found on GIMP dashboard.
