Aegisub overview

Aegisub is an Utility program. You can open it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Aegisub for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on respective stores.

Aegisub operates with .SRT files. Other Aegisub supported filename extensions besides .SRT are .SSA, .STY, .TXT.

You can open .SRT and other files with Aegisub in two ways:

1. You can double-click on .SRT file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If Aegisub is properly installed on your computer, the file will open successfully.
2. You can open .SRT file through the Aegisub menu. To open the menu, launch Aegisub, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
