Aegisub overview

Aegisub is an Utility program. It is available on various platforms, including Windows, Mac, and Linux. Aegisub for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on respective sources.

Aegisub is mainly used for working with .SRT files. Other Aegisub supported file formats besides .SRT are .SSA, .STY, .TXT.

There are two ways of opening .SRT files with Aegisub:

1. You can double-click on .SRT file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If Aegisub is properly installed on your computer, the file will open successfully.
2. You can open .SRT file through the Aegisub menu. The menu button can be found on Aegisub dashboard.
