GNU Bash supported file formats include .BASH_HISTORY and other formats of similar type. Other GNU Bash supported filename extensions besides .BASH_HISTORY are .BASH_PROFILE, .BASHRC, .PROFILE, .SH.
There are two ways of opening .BASH_HISTORY files with GNU Bash:
- By double-clicking on .BASH_HISTORY file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed GNU Bash on your Mac or Linux, the file will open successfully.
- By opening .BASH_HISTORY through the GNU Bash menu. To open the menu, launch GNU Bash, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
