dBase is a Productivity tool. You can open it on Windows. dBase for Windows can be found on respective stores.
dBase operates with .$DB files. Other dBase supported file formats besides .$DB are .COD, .DBK, .DBT, .DBV, .FIL, .LBL, .MDX, .NDX, .SDF, .STR, .VAL, .WFM, .CDX, .DB2, .DBF, .FRO, .IDX, .MBK, .NTX, .PRG.
There are two ways of opening .$DB files with dBase:
- By double-clicking on .$DB file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed dBase on your Windows, the file will open successfully.
- You can open .$DB file from the dBase menu. The menu button can be found on dBase dashboard.
