FreeCAD overview

FreeCAD is a Graphics program. You can launch it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. FreeCAD for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on respective sources.

You can open .DAE and other files with FreeCAD in two ways:

1. By double-clicking on .DAE file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If you have installed FreeCAD on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
2. You can open .DAE file through the FreeCAD menu. The menu button can be found on FreeCAD dashboard.
