Google Earth is a Scientific tool. You can launch it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Google Earth for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on respective sources.

Google Earth supported file formats include .GPX and other formats of similar type. Other Google Earth supported filename extensions besides .GPX are .KML, .KMZ, .ETA.

You can open .GPX and other files with Google Earth in two ways:

  1. By double-clicking on .GPX file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If Google Earth is properly installed on your computer, the file will open successfully.
  2. By opening .GPX from the Google Earth menu. The menu button can be found on Google Earth dashboard.
