Google Earth overview
Google Earth is a Scientific tool. You can launch it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Google Earth for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on respective stores.
Google Earth supported file formats include .GPX and other formats of similar type. Other Google Earth supported filename extensions besides .GPX are .KML, .KMZ, .ETA.
There are two ways of opening .GPX files with Google Earth:
- You can double-click on .GPX file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If you have installed Google Earth on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
- You can open .GPX file through the Google Earth menu. The menu button can be found on Google Earth dashboard.
