Google Earth overview
Google Earth is a Scientific tool. You can launch it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Google Earth for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on respective sources.
Google Earth supported file formats include .GPX and other formats of similar type. Other Google Earth supported filename extensions besides .GPX are .KML, .KMZ, .ETA.
You can open .GPX and other files with Google Earth in two ways:
- By double-clicking on .GPX file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed Google Earth on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
- You can open .GPX file through the Google Earth menu. To open the menu, launch Google Earth, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
