TeXworks overview
TeXworks is a Productivity tool. You can open it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. TeXworks for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on respective sources.
TeXworks is mainly used for working with .BBL files. Other TeXworks supported filename extensions besides .BBL are .CLS, .DTX, .GF, .LTX, .PK, .STY, .TFM, .AUX, .BLG, .BST, .DFU, .ETX, .INS, .LATEX, .MF.
There are two ways of opening .BBL files with TeXworks:
- You can double-click on .BBL file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If TeXworks is properly installed on your computer, the file will open successfully.
- By opening .BBL through the TeXworks menu. To open the menu, launch TeXworks, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
