TeXworks is mainly used for working with .BBL files. Other TeXworks supported file formats besides .BBL are .CLS, .DTX, .GF, .LTX, .PK, .STY, .TFM, .AUX, .BLG, .BST, .DFU, .ETX, .INS, .LATEX, .MF.
You can open .BBL and other files with TeXworks in two ways:
- You can double-click on .BBL file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If TeXworks is properly installed on your computer, the file will open successfully.
- By opening .BBL through the TeXworks menu. To open the menu, launch TeXworks, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
