gEDA is a Productivity tool. It is available on various platforms, including Mac, and Linux. gEDA for Mac, and Linux can be found on respective sources.
gEDA is mainly used for working with .GBL files. Other gEDA supported file formats besides .GBL are .GBO, .GBP, .GBR, .GBS, .GML, .GPI, .GTL, .GTO, .GTP, .GTS, .SYM.
There are two ways of opening .GBL files with gEDA:
- By double-clicking on .GBL file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed gEDA on your Mac or Linux, the file will open successfully.
- You can open .GBL file through the gEDA menu. To open the menu, launch gEDA, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
