gEDA overview

gEDA is a Productivity program. You can launch it on Mac, and Linux. gEDA for Mac, and Linux can be found on respective sources.

gEDA supported file formats include .GBL and other formats of similar type. Other gEDA supported file formats besides .GBL are .GBO, .GBP, .GBR, .GBS, .GML, .GPI, .GTL, .GTO, .GTP, .GTS, .SYM.

There are two ways of opening .GBL files with gEDA:

1. You can double-click on .GBL file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed gEDA on your Mac or Linux, the file will open successfully.
2. By opening .GBL through the gEDA menu. The menu button can be found on gEDA dashboard.
