gEDA overview
gEDA is a Productivity tool. It is available on various platforms, including Mac, and Linux. gEDA for Mac, and Linux can be found on respective stores.
gEDA operates with .GBL files. Other gEDA supported filename extensions besides .GBL are .GBO, .GBP, .GBR, .GBS, .GML, .GPI, .GTL, .GTO, .GTP, .GTS, .SYM.
There are two ways of opening .GBL files with gEDA:
- By double-clicking on .GBL file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If you have installed gEDA on your Mac or Linux, the file will open successfully.
- You can open .GBL file from the gEDA menu. The menu button can be found on gEDA dashboard.
