MAME overview

MAME is a Gaming tool. You can open it on Windows, and Linux. MAME for Windows, and Linux can be found on respective sources.

MAME operates with .68K files. Other MAME supported file formats besides .68K are .CFG, .CHD, .DIF, .HI, .INP, .LAY, .LNG, .NV, .STA.

There are two ways of opening .68K files with MAME:

1. You can double-click on .68K file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If you have installed MAME on your Windows or Linux, the file will open successfully.
2. By opening .68K from the MAME menu. To open the menu, launch MAME, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
