MuseScore overview
MuseScore is a Audio tool. You can launch it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. MuseScore for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on official sources.
MuseScore is mainly used for working with .MSC files. Other MuseScore supported filename extensions besides .MSC are .MSCX, .ABC, .MIDI, .MXL.
There are two ways of opening .MSC files with MuseScore:
- You can double-click on .MSC file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed MuseScore on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
- By opening .MSC through the MuseScore menu. To open the menu, launch MuseScore, find the menu button and follow the instructions.
