PKHeX overview

PKHeX is a Utility tool. You can open it on Windows. PKHeX for Windows can be found on respective stores.

PKHeX operates with .EK6 files. Other PKHeX supported file formats besides .EK6 are .EKX, .PK6, .PKM, .SAV, .PKX.

There are two ways of opening .EK6 files with PKHeX:

1. You can double-click on .EK6 file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed PKHeX on your Windows, the file will open successfully.
2. You can open .EK6 file through the PKHeX menu. The menu button can be found on PKHeX dashboard.
