Apple Terminal is an Utility program. You can launch it on Mac. Apple Terminal for Mac can be found on respective stores.
Apple Terminal is mainly used for working with .BASH_HISTORY files. Other Apple Terminal supported filename extensions besides .BASH_HISTORY are .BASH_PROFILE, .BASHRC, .ICONSET, .INETLOC, .PROFILE, .SH, .TERMINAL.
You can open .BASH_HISTORY and other files with Apple Terminal in two ways:
- By double-clicking on .BASH_HISTORY file (or any other supported file) with left click mouse button. If you have installed Apple Terminal on your Mac, the file will open successfully.
- You can open .BASH_HISTORY file from the Apple Terminal menu. The menu button can be found on Apple Terminal dashboard.
