TeXworks is a Productivity program. You can open it on Windows, Mac, and Linux. TeXworks for Windows, Mac, and Linux can be found on respective stores.
TeXworks is mainly used for working with .BBL files. Other TeXworks supported filename extensions besides .BBL are .CLS, .DTX, .GF, .LTX, .PK, .STY, .TFM, .AUX, .BLG, .BST, .DFU, .ETX, .INS, .LATEX, .MF.
There are two ways of opening .BBL files with TeXworks:
- By double-clicking on .BBL file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If you have installed TeXworks on your Windows or Mac, the file will open successfully.
- By opening .BBL through the TeXworks menu. The menu button can be found on TeXworks dashboard.
