gEDA overview

gEDA is a Productivity tool. It is available on various platforms, including Mac, and Linux. gEDA for Mac, and Linux can be found on official stores.

gEDA operates with .GBL files. Other gEDA supported file formats besides .GBL are .GBO, .GBP, .GBR, .GBS, .GML, .GPI, .GTL, .GTO, .GTP, .GTS, .SYM.

You can open .GBL and other files with gEDA in two ways:

1. You can double-click on .GBL file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If you have installed gEDA on your Mac or Linux, the file will open successfully.
2. By opening .GBL from the gEDA menu. The menu button can be found on gEDA dashboard.
