dBase is a Productivity tool. You can launch it on Windows. dBase for Windows can be found on official stores.
dBase supported file formats include .$DB and other formats of similar type. Other dBase supported filename extensions besides .$DB are .COD, .DBK, .DBT, .DBV, .FIL, .LBL, .MDX, .NDX, .SDF, .STR, .VAL, .WFM, .CDX, .DB2, .DBF, .FRO, .IDX, .MBK, .NTX, .PRG.
There are two ways of opening .$DB files with dBase:
- You can double-click on .$DB file (or any other file of supported format) with left click mouse button. If dBase is properly installed on your computer, the file will open successfully.
- By opening .$DB through the dBase menu. The menu button can be found on dBase dashboard.
